zTrip is the  largest taxi transportation company in North America , operating in 38 cities with 6,000+ vehicles and a team of 500+ employees . We are leading the evolution of modern ground transportation, combining the reliability of traditional taxi services with the convenience of modern technology.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven  Vice President of Operations to join our executive leadership team. This is a critical role responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of operational functions across our national footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

• P&L Ownership: Drive profitability across all locations, with a focus on operational efficiency and revenue growth.
• Business Development: Identify and execute opportunities to expand services, markets, and strategic partnerships.
• Leadership & Oversight: Lead multi-site operations and support regional teams in hiring, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Driver Compliance & Safety: Ensure independent contractor (IC) drivers meet zTrip’s high standards for safety, legal compliance, and service excellence.
• Process Optimization: Develop and refine processes to improve customer satisfaction, operational metrics, and overall service quality.
• Other: Any other assigned duties in correlation with the VP of Operations position.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in senior operations leadership experience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or a high-growth service industry
• Strong financial acumen with proven P&L accountability
• Track record of scaling teams and driving business development in multi-location environments
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, or other transportation-related regulatory frameworks a plus
