Job Description

Main Sail is seeking Mendix Developers to support a U.S. Navy initiative aimed at enhancing supply chain security and resilience through advanced technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with Agile projects, and proficiency in Mendix application development. Responsibilities include working with Microflows, Nanoflows, and REST APIs (consuming and exposing), as well as utilizing marketplace modules like SSO and workflows to support the mission-critical objectives of improving supply chain transparency and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Analyze user system and application needs, determine and evaluate potential solutions, develop system specifications and requirements, and design application programs to meet the requirements.
• Participate in project teams tasked with optimizing and automating business processes using Mendix Low Code Development
• Develop applications using the Mendix code generator.
• Research and analyze business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them.
• Write documentation to provide user support for programs and for production/operating procedures.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Mendix development experience with Mendix low code platform is required.
• Senior (6 years) / Mid-Level (3 years).
• Rapid Application Developer Mendix certification would be an added plus.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Mendix and React.
• Experience with Python, JAVA & SQL programming.
• Analytical thinker who knows how to organize data and workflow.
• Problem solvers can look at problems in multiple ways.
• Experienced with Data / Workflow Analysis.
• Self-driven, independent, and accountable.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of curiosity and an intense desire to succeed.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Location: Remote

Period of Performance: 1 Year (June 2025 - June 2026), with the possibility for extensions.
