Responsibilities + Process and issue employee paychecks, including calculating wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions. + Ensure all payroll transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. + Maintain employee records related to payroll, tax forms, benefits, and deductions. + Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. + Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. + Assist in reconciling payroll accounts and detecting errors or variances. + Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to adapt processes accordingly. + Utilize payroll software, such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, or other programs, for effective payroll processing and reporting. Requirements + Strong understanding of payroll processing, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits. + Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Paychex, or similar platforms. + Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations, including compliance reporting. + Ability to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies efficiently. + High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive employee information. + Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools for payroll-related tasks.
